In 2005 we were looking for black mares and spotted this stunning mare at Coulee Bend.  We even ordered a video of her.  But, alas, we could not afford her.  She was sold to Dragonfire Farms in California.  But we always remembered her, could not get her out of mind.  In 2008 we contacted Dragonfire to see if we could purchase Annie.  But, drat, still too expensive for us.  Then we saw her listed for sale on The Morgan Showcase, for a reasonable price, but, DARN, the recession arrived, money was tight and we still could not get her.  By this time we were friends with Cindy Dietz in Coulee Bend, and had told her the story of wanting this mare for 5 years.  Cindy kept and eye on her listing on The Morgan Showcase, and saw one day that her price had been drastically reduced.  We jumped fast and called and emailed Dragonfire Farms immediately.  Good thing we acted so fast because they had many serious inquiries throughout the day.
