Bella is an amazing horse. Bought as a broodmare, she had a lovely colt. Then a teenage girl bought her, until she finished her "horse crazy" period. Her father, not a horse person, was going to put her out to pasture, but in Arizona, that's not much. So we bought Bella back.
Are we glad we did!!! Bella has "found" herself and her talent as a barrel racing horse. Jackie Nelson, champion barrel racer and trainer of quarter horses quotes "Generally it takes a long time to train a barrel horse. Bella took to it very quickly; people are very impressed with her. Because you see only quarter horses running barrels, everyone is amazed that she is Morgan." We are so proud that she is helping to educate people on what Morgans can do.
