RHF Vera

1987  Black   EE  15.1hh

Vera is my heart.  She has a forever home with me.  She has many fears from a difficult life, but I understand that.   I used to have fears too.

Vera bred to Legacy on September 1, 2007.  We hope she settled, but are not sure.  It's always good to have something to look forward to !  ; -))

I am just foolish about this mare.  I  love her dearly.

Who's

 got

 your

 tail?

Vera is one of the few, if not the ONLY,  reproducing direct daughter of Wham Bam Command left- a 20 year old mare who has had difficult times in the past. She is the kind of mare to build a whole program on. I feel very privileged to have her with me.

After Vera arrived (2006), she was bred.  But not to Legacy.  You see, Vera is a experienced woman and was NOT impressed by a sprout like Legacy.  She came across country from Michigan with an experienced stallion Olympus Way To Go (Murphy).  Vera got off that trailer with a gleam in her eye.  So came the time to breed her, what do you know!, Murphy is only a mile from us.  It is usual for the mare to go to the stallion, but Vera also has fears of trailers, so Kathleen Reiman,  of Hassayampa Morgans, and Murphy kindly consented to come here every day for five days.  Murphy was quite the gentleman, and Vera responded.

On May 9, 2007, with grace and serenity,     Vera foaled a beautiful bay filly
